Megabite Electronics Inc. has a long history of serving as an authorized representative or distributor for many OEM’s and distributors, both large and small.  We can offer many services to help you gain exposure to new markets, improve and increase your business with the Department of Defense, and increase your profitability by significantly decreasing administrative costs.  We have customized database software which uses specified criteria to automatically obtain government requirements daily.  The software is integrated with the DCMA’s WAWF (wide-area workflow) system for government source inspections and with DPMS (Distribution Planning and Management System).  This allows us to reduce paperwork and to promptly and seamlessly ship and invoice.  In addition, we access to a full technical library of thousands of NSN’s and suppliers.  We perform all military packaging and labeling on site to the latest Mil-STD requirements.  The local DCMA office has approved us for ARP (Alternate Release Procedures) allowing us to inspect parts on behalf of the government and expedite contracts which are source inspection.  We have an itinerant government QAR who is responsible for Navy Nuclear contracts under the administration of the DCMA Staten Island – Fort Wadsworth.    

We offer several options for OEM’s and distributors interested in our services.

We can bid directly to the government on the principal’s behalf and handle all associated administrative duties. 

Another option we offer is to act as your military distributor.  In this capacity we would serve as the contractor to the military and perform all military packaging, labeling, inspection reports, and invoicing. 

We can also substantially reduce paperwork and administrative costs by handling all requests for military parts and selling directly to government resellers.

Serving in any of these capacities we would ensure that our principal is submitting competitive bids and work to acquire new approvals for parts which are not currently sold to the government.
