Megabite Electronics, Inc. incorporated in 1979, opened its doors as a representative of two of the largest distributors of major electronics manufacturers in the U.S.

Selling to companies such as Loral, Hazeltine and Grumman Aerospace, annual gross figures have amounted to $18 Million a year.  Megabite was then established as a V.A.R. (value-added reseller) for Toshiba’s peripherals and computer division, adding such eminent clients as AT&T and Prentice-Hall.

In 1991, Megabite Electronics began functioning as an export house, catering to OEM’s (original equipment manufacturers) and importers in Italy, Germany, South Africa, England and Belgium.  Clients include IBM, G.E., and the Olivetti Group.
